Under no circumstances do we sell kits before they are 8 week sold and certainly not to children without their parents being with them and we have made sure they understand the committment they will have.
If a micro mini lop or nethie is particulary small we hold onto then until we feel they are strong and fat enough to go, we have soul discression over when our rabbits leave us, please do not ask to take them to young, as it is breaking the law and also they should not leave their mothers until a certain age or they may die from stress related bloat a so many times happens when moved around to much as often happens when purchased from pet shops.
We now have a policy of not selling any rabbit or guinea pig before they are 10 weeks old as some of ours are so tiny like the micros and some of the nethies we feel it not wise, a decision thought and talked about for sometime due to pressure from people asking us for very young kits and have asked if we can take a kit away from it's mum so they can take it home before we have weaned it. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO SELL ANY ANIMAL UNDER 8 WEEKS OLD, PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THAT AND WE DON'T BREAK THE LAW.
YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SELFS IF YOU DO, IT IS CRUEL TO TAKE KITS AWAY FROM THEIR MUMS SO YOUNG, WE ALSO DO THE SAME WITH OUR PIGGIES.
